Bottle Loft Magnetic Hanger

In order to free up more space in his fridge, Brian Conti, a product design engineer, decided to create a bottle hanger that can suspend all sorts of different drinks using super-strong magnets. Apart from extra space, it’s a very cool way to impress your friends when they come over for a drink. bottleLoft is also pretty affordable, starting from as little as $20 via Brian’s current Kickstarter.

Each bottleLoft is comprised of eight parts: three N52 (the strongest grade available) neodymium magnets, three custom machined steel cups to focus the magnetic strength, one injection molded plastic rail made in the USA, and one strip of 3M VHB (very high bond) tape, a special low temperature variety suitable for refrigerators.

The magnet in bottleLoft is designed to attract a standard bottle cap and hold up to an additional 3.6 pounds. To put this in perspective, if a single bottleLoft magnet assembly were to be used to simply hold a large piece of steel… it could hold a piece over 50 pounds!

Brian’s already had a lot of success with launching his own products; four out of seven Kickstarter campaigns have been successfully funded over the past few years. bottleLoft looks like its on track to do the same, but don’t forget to check out the project for yourself if you’re running out of space in the refrigerator.
